In 2022 Rujuta Rao, an artist, occasional collaborator, and friend, showed her project Rhizophora at Rubus Discolor Project in Portland, OR. Rao invited me to write a text for the exhibition. This piece was written in response to, inspired by, and quotes parts of her work.
